What is a hair piece, hair graft, men's unit or toupee? These styles go by many different names but are essentially the same thing.
At Lori's Wigsite we call them Hairpieces; they are made with varying base sizes. The base will usually cover from the front of your hairline, to just past the top of your head. You will have to have the hairpiece "cut in" & "thinned out" in order for it to blend with your existing hairs, usually at the back of your head and along the sides.
You'll have to decide if you want to wear it for an extended amount of time or take it off daily. Once you decide what works best for your needs, this will determine which type of attachment method you'll need for securing the hairpiece to your head.
~ For daily wear, you can simply clip it in and gently remove the hairpiece at night with metal snap comb clips. *The double sided toupee tape method can be used for daily wear as well.
~ If you'd prefer to wear your hairpiece for extended wear, you can use either glue, double sided toupee tape, or one of our specialty bonding agents. Whether you prefer a double sided tape or a bonding glue agent, these quality products will help secure your new hairpiece, while promoting that confident "new look" that you've been looking for!
For hairpieces that are worn for extended wear, once you're ready to remove it try our award winning Jorgen Amber Super Solvent, strong enough to remove any stubborn residue "build up" in the convenience of a spray bottle.
*For optimal results all hairpieces look best after cutting, thinning out and blending in with existing hairs.
